The 14th Taipei Int''l Machine Tool Show (Timtos 2009) ended the fair with flying colours and high expectations among global exhibitors and visitors across the machine industry. The six - day exhibition from 2 - 7 March 2009 provided a venue for the entire industry occupying the three halls of the Taipei World Trade Centre, and the newly furnished Nangang Exhibition Hall. The 895 exhibitors and 4,871 booths were emblems of a successful trade show for the organisers of the event , achieving 26% and 75% increases, respectively compared to last year''s show. There was no doubt about the scale and impact of Taiwan machine tool industry on the island''s economy.
