UGML builds pig iron plant in Maharashtra

Uttam Galva Metallics Ltd (UGML) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Maharashtra to establish a pig iron manufacturing plant with a proposed output of half a million tones. The plant located at Wardha, Maharashtra will be an integrated facility for steel making, complete with coke oven and sinter plant. The project will also generate employment opportunity for about 380 people.
