Rieter Automatik GmbH is participating under it s new name, Automatik Plastics Machinery. This is the first time the company exhibits at Arabplast. The company presents the special design of it s SPHERO underwater pelletizer as well as its BAOLI dry cut strand pelletizer. The SPHERO under water pelletizing system is specifically designed for thermoplastics, with its unique knife head design and optimized flow conditions within the cutting chamber ensuring perfectly spherical pellets that are ideal for further processing. The extremely flexible system has proven itself in demanding production environments, providing throughput rates of up to 18,000 kg/h with minimal space requirements. Through axial movement of the motor shaft, the main drive motor regrinds the knife edges during operation, increasing equipment availability and thus reducing costs. The BAOLI series is available in three basic machine sizes with operating widths of 100 mm, 200 mm and 300 mm. State-of - the-art cutting tools ensure both a long equipment lifespan as well as very high throughput rates - e.g. up to 3,000 kg/h for PBT or PET compounds . The uncompromising quality standard of the BAOLI pellet izers combines excellent value with very low operating costs. The electric Allrounder 570 A will produce 48 barrels made from polypropylene. The part weight is 3.23 grams and the cycle time is twelve seconds.
