The new Walter Prototyp Sky.tec's machining rates is twice as high as those of conventional shank cutters during the roughing of pockets in aluminum. It has a series of exactly matched features, such as: helix angle with 25?or 30? polished flutes for low cuttingedge build-up and reliable chip evacuation even from deep pockets; CRN coating of the cutting edges (optional); special RAPAX roughing profile (on roughing variants); internal coolant channels with both axial and also radial outlet holes for optimal cooling lubricant medium supply; treated surface finish for firm grip and reliable transfer of high torques (=high process reliability). Corner radii from R=0.5 to R=4mm and 0.030?to 0.187?make it possible to use the cutters for a very wide range of contours.Nike Benassi Slide
