Molded fiber packaging production firm, RyPax, and material science company, CelluComp developed a novel pulp fiber made with a mix of Curran®, bamboo, and bagasse -- that is used for their all-fiber bottle. This pulp fiber material is extremely strong with minimal porosity, enabling the application of a thin, impermeable coating to the bottle's interior. The bottle solution is ideal for beverage, beauty and cosmetics use.
Curran® in particular is a micro fibrillated cellulose product crafted from root vegetable waste. In this video, CelluComp shares how this material is made.
