Recycled resins are now becoming the norm as the plastics industry adheres to the goals of a circular economy. In this issue, we were able to interview one of the largest polyethylene recyclers in Southeast Asia and learned how the company has been expanding its production capacity for recycled pellets to meet rising demand.
This issue also carries the CHINAPLAS 2023 Special Supplement featuring the exhibition’s main highlights and products on exhibit. This mega exhibition has always been a must-go event where both local and foreign exhibitors unveil their latest technologies, materials and production techniques. The exhibition has grown over the years that interesting concurrent events are now responding to the fast-changing trends within the plastics and rubber industries.
In the next issue, another exhibition will be featured – InterPlas Thailand 2023 – which is under the umbrella exhibition, Manufacturing Expo. These revival of major exhibitions in the Asian region augurs well for exhibitors who, even during the pandemic, continued their quest for effective production solutions.
